Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks have announced the fall baseball game at renovated Riverfront Stadium between the University of Iowa and Indian Hills Community College originally scheduled for Friday, October 3 has been cancelled due to the weather forecast.  Currently, first pitch temperatures are projected in the high-40’s with 21 mile-per-hour winds.  The temperature is forecast to drop into the 30’s throughout the evening.

There will be no make-up contest.  Iowa’s final intrasquad scrimmage – the best-of-three Black and Gold World Series – beginning October 10 in Iowa City.

The Bucks 2014 season is complete, with the team finishing the year with the third-best record in the Northwoods League.  The Bucks will be back in action in late-spring of 2015.  The 2015 NWL schedule is expected to be released this fall.  Fans are encouraged to stay in touch with the Bucks in the off-season by utilizing their website at www.waterloobucks.com.
