Dan Corbin | General Manager

Entering the 2026 season, Dan Corbin, a two-time Northwoods League Executive of the Year award winner (2008 & 2021), enters his 27th year in the NWL, 25th season in the Bucks front office, and 21st as General Manager of the team. Prior to taking the helm of the Bucks, Corbin worked as the team’s Assistant General Manager / Director of Media Relations from 2002-2005.

Corbin received his bachelor’s degree in Communications/Electronic Media from the University of Northern Iowa where he interned with the Bucks during the 1997 and 1999 seasons. After receiving his undergrad degree, Corbin attended the University of Texas where he graduated with a master’s degree in Sport Management. Corbin worked as the Assistant Facilities Coordinator of the Athletics Department at Western Kentucky University after the completion of his graduate program until he was hired by the Bucks.

During his time with the Bucks, Corbin has been a part of an NWL Championship, designed the current Bucks Internship Program, coordinated a team logo change, and had the privilege of hosting the 2019 NWL All-Star Game in Waterloo.

Dan resides in Cedar Falls with his wife, Tyllie, and 14-year old son, Shea. Active in the community, Dan sits on the Board of Directors of the Cedar Falls Lions Club as the Vice President of the Global Membership Team, a member of the Grow Cedar Valley Ambassadors, and volunteers with UNI Athletics Communications.

Matthew Borsheim | Assistant General Manager

Matthew Borsheim was promoted to Assistant General Manager for the Waterloo Bucks on April 1, 2026 after serving as the team’s Stadium & Concessions Operations Manager. The 2026 season will be his seventh summer in the Northwoods League. Borsheim was a Game Day Staff member for the La Crosse Loggers from 2017 through 2020 before working as a Ballpark Operations Intern with the ballclub in 2021.

Borsheim received his bachelor of science degree in Sports Management from Minnesota State University-Mankato in 2022 where he was a Marketing and Promotions Intern for the athletic department in 2020 and 2021. As an intern at MSU, Matthew executed marketing plans and helped to create new promotional concepts.

A La Crosse native, Borsheim was the Store Manager for Badger Sports Shop-Badger Breaks where he oversaw daily operations of the sports memorabilia and trading card store.

Ephram Mutz – Box Office Manager

Muntz will graduate from Loras College, in Dubuque, Iowa, in the Summer of 2026 with a Bachelor’s in Sports Management. During his time at Loras College, he was on the Football team, as well as interning with the Football Recruiting Team and Events Operations for basketball, track and field, and softball. This is his first year in the Northwoods League.

Easton Smith – Operations Manager

Smith was hired in April of 2026 as the Operations Manager for the upcoming season here with the Bucks.

This will be his first season working in the Northwoods League, but has previous experience with Gameday Events, Marketing Promotions, and Ballpark Operations/Management.

Easton is currently a student at the University of Northern Iowa studying Business & Sports Administration. He aims to graduate in the spring of 2027 with his twin sister. In his time as a student, he has taken on multiple roles within the sports & recreation programs at UNI. He is currently serving as a gameday event staff member for UNI athletics and a supervisor for UNI Intramurals. He previously spent time as a UNI Men’s basketball manager, where he learned a lot about the daily processes of sports teams at the collegiate level. Smith is an Illinois native, more specifically growing up in the Quad City area, where he has had the opportunity to develop a keen sense of knowledge and passion for the sports industry & its future.
