Dan Corbin – General Manager

corbin-dan-resizedDan Corbin, the 2008 Northwoods League Executive of the Year, enters his 19th year in the NWL, 17th season in the Bucks front office, and 13th as General Manager of the team.  Prior to taking the helm of the Bucks, Corbin worked as the team’s Assistant General Manager / Director of Media Relations from 2002-2005.

Corbin received his bachelor’s degree in Communications/Electronic Media from the University of Northern Iowa where he interned with the Bucks during the 1997 and 1999 seasons.  After receiving his undergrad degree, Corbin attended the University of Texas where he graduated with a master’s degree in Sport Management.  Corbin worked as the Assistant Facilities Coordinator of the Athletics Department at Western Kentucky University after the completion of his graduate program until he was hired by the Bucks.

During his time with the Bucks, Corbin has been a part of an NWL Championship, established the Bucks Baseball Hall of Fame, designed the current Bucks Internship Program, and coordinated a team logo change.

Dan resides in Cedar Falls with his wife, Tyllie, and seven-year old son, Shea.

Neil Birdsall – Ticket & Stadium Operations Manager

On February 13, 2018, the Waterloo Bucks have announced the hiring of Neil Birdsall as the team’s new Ticket & Stadium Operations Manager.  Birdsall most recently worked for the Arizona Diamondbacks in the organization’s Ticket Sales, Services & Operations department as a Data Specialist & Manager.

Originally from Hampton, Iowa, Birdsall started his professional career with an internship with the Quad City River Bandits of the Midwest League.  That turned into a full-time position with the River Bandits, as Birdsall was named the Director of Ticket Operations, a position he held from February of 1999 through April of 2001.  Birdsall joined the Diamondbacks organization in February of 2002 as a Ticket Sales Representative and was eventually promoted to the Manager of the D-backs’ Ticket Office Call Center, a position he held from 2003 through 2008.  Birdsall transitioned to the Data Specialist & Manager role in 2009.

Morgan Hawk – Sales & Broadcasting Manager

hawk-morgan - 2Morgan Hawk joins the Bucks from the team’s sister club, the Cedar Rapids Kernels, as Waterloo’s Sales & Broadcasting Manager.  Since joining the team in late-September of 2015, Hawk has been responsible for coordinating the day to day sales efforts in the Bucks front office and acting as a liaison between the Waterloo and Cedar Rapids offices.

Morgan has been with the Cedar Rapids Ball Club Inc. for five years as a Sales Executive/Radio Broadcaster for the Kernels.  Hawk resides in Cedar Rapids with his wife Jill.

Ben Knaack – Assistant General Manager / Community Relations Manager

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOn January 7, 2016, the Waterloo Bucks announced the hiring of Ben Knaack as the team’s Community Relations Manager.  Knaack is a former Bucks intern from 2014 and is originally from Grinnell, Iowa.

Ben graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations.  In his role with the Bucks, Ben is heavily involved in promoting the organization through player and mascot appearances, facilitating the Bucks Summer Reading Program, and selling group outings as a member of the sales team.  Ben resides in Cedar Falls and was promoted to Assistant General Manager in Ocotber of 2017.
