(July 24, 2012) -- Three solo home runs, including a timely tie breaking shot by hometown All-Star outfielder Tyler Marincov (Madison) in the eighth inning, allowed the South Division to battle back from an early two run deficit and deliver a 4-3 win over the North Division in the 17th annual Northwoods League All-Star Game at the “Duck Pond.”

ROCHESTER, Minn. (July 21, 2012) – Things stayed heated at the top of the divisions, as the MoonDogs beat the Huskies to get within two and half games of first place. The Woodchucks improved to 14-2 in the second half with the Mallards following closely behind.

MADISON, Wis. (July 20, 2012) -- The Madison Mallards are excited to announce the participants in this year's Northwoods League Home Run Derby presented by the Dane County Regional Airport. The Home Run Derby, on July 24 at 6:00 pm will preclude the Northwoods League All-Star Game presented by Zimbrick Honda at 7:35 pm. Eight contestants, four from the North Division and four from the South Division, were selected to represent their respective divisions in the contest.
