Joining the Express will be San Diego State University left-hander Craig Rasmussen, Central Michigan University right-hander Devan Kline and University of Texas of the Permian Basin right-hander Drew Kendrick. The trio brings the Express roster to 25 with just over two weeks until the opener.

Gabe Sandersius, a junior at the University of Dallas, has signed a contract with the Wisconsin Woodchucks and will be heading north to Wausau this summer. Sandersius is a left-handed pitcher and outfielder for the Crusaders.

Bryce Butt, a right-handed pitcher from Ohio University, has inked a contract with the Wisconsin Woodchucks for the 2009 summer. Butt is in his junior season and is one of the Bobcats’ top relief pitchers.
