Bryce Butt, a right-handed pitcher from Ohio University, has inked a contract with the Wisconsin Woodchucks for the 2009 summer. Butt is in his junior season and is one of the Bobcats’ top relief pitchers.
The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced the signing of Aaron Dunsmore, a 6-foot, 185-pound junior outfielder from the University of Dayton. Dunsmore becomes the third outfielder on the Honkers roster this summer.
The Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Club announced the signing of two players for 2009. Junior pitcher Josh Castanza, and sophomore outfielder Danny Miller, both of Minnesota State University, Mankato have committed to play for the MoonDogs this summer.
The Madison Mallards announced the team has signed Virginia freshman catcher John Hicks for the 2009 season. On the season, Hicks is hitting .333 with eight doubles, five home runs, and 30 RBI in 47 games for the Cavaliers.

The Battle Creek Bombers are pleased to announce the signings of three more players to their 2009 roster. Pitchers Josh McElwee and James Jones, along with outfielder Greg Annarummo, will join the Bombers for the 2009 season.
The Battle Creek Bombers announced today that infielder Colin Kaline has signed to play for the team in 2009, marking a return to Battle Creek after an abbreviated season a year ago.
The Thunder Bay Border Cats of the Northwoods League announced today the signing of Dan Welch of North Saanich, British Columbia. Welch is a catcher/infielder at Central Arizona College in Coolidge, AZ. The 6'2, 195 pound sophomore has played in 35 games this season and is batting .356 with 18 runs batted in.
The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced today the signing of Drew Bowen, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound freshman right-handed pitcher from Oral Roberts University. Bowen is the second Golden Eagle in Rochester Honker history to don the teal in the summer.
Eau Claire Express field manager Dale Varsho announced today the addition of infielder Andy Leonard to his 2009 roster. Leonard is a sophomore for the University of Illinois-Chicago of the Horizon League and brings the Express roster to 22.
