Bryce Shafer, a right-handed pitcher at Valparaiso University, has signed on to play for the Wisconsin Woodchucks this summer. Shafer carries a 6-3 record for the Crusaders (23-20).

The Mankato MoonDogs Baseball Club announced the signing of two players for 2009. Redshirt freshman second baseman AJ Pettersen from the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, MN) and sophomore third baseman Cody Fick of the University of Evansville (Evansville, IN) have committed to play for the MoonDogs this summer.

The Duluth Huskies announced the recent signings of two more players to their 2009 roster. Nebraska Cornhuskers Pitcher Sean Yost and 3B Cody Asche have agreed to join the 2009 Huskies campaign.
