Green Bay looks to start a new winning streak against Lakeshore on road

Ashwaubenon, Wis.- The Green Bay Rockers take on the Lakeshore Chinooks in a road doubleheader, with first pitches set for 11:35 a.m. and 6: 35 p.m. at Kapco Park.

Green Bay enters this doubleheader fresh off a win over the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders in which the Rockers hit six home runs and three of them coming from Matt Scannell.

The Rockers other runs came from JP Gauthier, Griffin Stevens, and Keniel De Leon, who each hit one home run to help earn the series split with the Dock Spiders.

Austin Vandenbrink earned the win on the mound for Green Bay, after he pitched 3.2 innings out of the bullpen while giving up one unearned run on two hits with four strikeouts.

In the first game of the doubleheader, Will Semb will get the start for Green Bay aa he comes in with a 4-5 record and a 5.48 ERA.

Semb last pitched July 21 against the Madison Mallards and earned the win courtesy of eight strikeouts while giving up just four runs.

The Chinooks will start Mitch Alba on the mound, who comes in with a 1-1 record and a 5.40 ERA and will have Colin Dailey set to pitch for the second game.

Following this doubleheader, the Rockers will head back home to take on Fond du Lac in the first of back-to-back home games for the Rockers with the Dock Spiders. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. at Capital Credit Union Park.
