Green Bay Rockers Sign 4 New Players for Summer Season

Drew Aguiar – RHP – 6”3’/220 – Junior

Standing at 6”3’ and 220 pounds, junior right-handed pitcher Drew Aguiar hails from Fair Oaks, California. He began his collegiate career at Sierra College before transferring to California State University, Monterey Bay. In the 2025 season, Aguiar made notable contributions to the Otters’ bullpen. Notably, on March 8th, 2025, he pitched a scoreless inning against Cal State East Bay, allowing no hits and striking out two batters. In the summer of 2024, Aguiar further hones his skills with the Walnut Creek Crawdads in the California Collegiate League, gaining valuable experience against tough competition.

Koshiro Ohno – RHP – 5”8’/180 – Freshman

Freshman right-handed pitcher Koshiro Ohno brings versatility and international experience to the Rockers. Standing at 5”8’ and 180 pounds, Ohno hails from Japan, where he developed a disciplined approach at the plate and swift defensive skills. In his inaugural season with the Seward County Saints, he has quickly adapted to the competitive landscape of the NJCAA baseball, contributing both offensively and defensively.

Bryson Huwar – RHP – 6”0’/195 – Sophomore

At 6”0’ and 195 pounds, sophomore right-handed pitcher Bryson Huwar joins the Rockers from Georgetown College. Originally from Fisher, Pennsylvania, Huwar has been a reliable presence on the mound for the Tigers. In the 2024 season, Georgetown College posted an overall record of 31-23, with Huwar contributing to the team’s success. His consistent performances have solidified him as a dependable option out of the bullpen.

Cord Copley – RHP – 5”11’/170 – Sophomore

Right-handed pitcher Cord Copley is a sophomore at Blinn College standing at 5”11’ and 170. Originally from Texas, Copley has been an integral part of the Buccaneers’ pitching staff. In the 2024 season he made 14 appearances, including six starts, and posted a 3.75 ERA over 48 innings pitched. His ability to work both as a starter and reliever provides valuable flexibility to the teams rotation.
