The La Crosse Loggers had the finale of their two-game series evened up against the Kenosha Kingfish by a final score of 3-2.

Starter Blake Stevens (Birmingham-Southern) pitched well going 7 1/3 innings allowing three runs (earned) on ten hits, while walking zero and striking out five.

La Crosse trailed the whole game and got their two runs on a Luke Persico (UCLA) sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth and after Aaron Knapp (Cal) drew a bases loaded walk in the top of the seventh inning.

The Loggers only had three hits the whole night off of Kingfish pitching and trailed the whole game.

La Crosse will now head north to Mequon to start a two-game series with the Lakeshore Chinooks.  First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 Thursday night from Kapco Park.
