The all-baseball radio talk show will open off-season #9 on Tuesday, Dec. 9  …

La Crosse's only all-baseball radio talk show, "Talkin' Baseball with the Loggers", is set and ready to return for its ninth off-season beginning onTuesday, December 9 at a brand new location.


Logger Radio Network officials announced earlier this week that Tom Sawyer's Bar & Grill on French Island is excited to serve as the new home each and every Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. where the crew of "Talkin' Baseball" will broadcast LIVE with a fan interactive radio show that will continue to keep fans informed on the latest and greatest from around the world of baseball.  Guests and listeners will be able to hear from such great guests as Loggers alumni in the big leagues and minor league baseball, representatives from the National Baseball Hall of Fame, beat writers from around MLB and, of course, Loggers personnel including new field manager Bill Sandillo just to name a few.


Tom Sawyer's Bar & Grill, located at 136 Clinton Street, is the first stop on your way into French Island and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Visitor's can enjoy a tantalizing menu that includes daily lunch specials, fish fries, homemade pizzas, marvelous Mexican entrees, broasted chicken, steaks, soups, salads, sandwiches and more.  It is a superb venue to also catch the latest sporting action on one of the 9 HDTV screens.

"Talkin' Baseball", which can also be heard LIVE on the "Logger Nation Station", Eagle 102.7 FM, will be a fan interactive show at Tom Sawyer's where patrons will be able to participate in baseball trivia challenge and sign up to win prizes on a weekly basis.
