The La Crosse Loggers were defeated by the Duluth Huskies yesterday in a competitive contest. 

Aidan Sweatt (North Florida) started the game off with a lead off triple and scored on a Josh Stevenson (LSU) base knock. Carson Hornung (South Carolina) then extended his hitting streak to a franchise-tying 22 games and was driven in by Landon Wallace (West Virginia).  

Following the 2-run 1st inning, the Huskies scored 5 unanswered runs, handing Matthew Linskey (Rice) his only loss of the season. Leading the way for Duluth was Hudson Sapp (Ole Miss), who went 2-4 with an RBI. Kristian Campbell (Georgia Tech) and Eduardo Rosario (Nebraska-Omaha) also contributed, each having a double and an RBI.  

Devin Dodson (Friends University) turned in a stellar outing for the Huskies, tallying 7.0 innings while allowing 2 runs. He surrendered just 4 hits and waved 8 batters. Jake Christianson (Feather River College), a recently named NWL All-Star, closed it out. He threw a scoreless 9th inning which sealed the victory.
