STROKE SURVIVORS NIGHT AT THE PARK
The La Crosse Loggers are proud to partner with Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare and Gundersen Health System to celebrate our local Stroke Survivors on Stroke Survivors Night at the park on Wednesday, July 17 at Copeland Park & Events Center!
Any and all stroke survivors are invited and encouraged to attend and will be provided with up to 3 complimentary tickets and vouchers good for a Hot Dog and a Pop, all compliments of Gundersen Health System and Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare. (Should you like more than 3 tickets, indicate the number of tickets you desire in the form below and a Loggers ticket representative will contact you directly to assist you in purchasing the additional tickets)
Not a stroke survivor but want to come out and support our area survivors and enjoy the game? Well then we have a special deal just for you! For each $10 ticket that you purchase, $5 will go back to benefit the Stroke Support Group to help keep this great initiative going. Additionally, all stroke survivors will be invited to take part in a very special “Stroke Survivor’s Ceremonial First Pitch”. Each survivor will be introduced on the pitching mound at Copeland Park and then get to throw out a Ceremonial 1st Pitch to officially kickoff our Stroke Survivor Night.
The schedule for the day will be as follows:
5:00 p.m. – Ticket Pick-Up/Gates Open for Survivors
5:30 p.m. – Gates Open to the General Public
6:05 p.m. – Stroke Survivor Ceremonial 1st Pitch Begins
6:30 p.m. – National Anthem
6:35 p.m. – First Pitch of the Loggers vs. Eau Claire Express
Parking: For those needing close proximity parking/drop-offs, you can pull your vehicle right up to the main entrance to Copeland Park for easy drop-off. There are also handicapped parking areas available near the main entrance, located along the Black River. Additional parking stalls can be found moving north all along the Black River as well as on various streets (Sumner, Rose) in the neighborhoods around Copeland Park.
