Former Northwoods League player Tyler Naquin got his first World Series hit on Friday as the Cleveland Indians beat the Chicago Cubs, 1-0, at Wrigley Field.

Naquin, Cleveland's rookie center fielder, was 1-for-2 in his second start of the Series.

The other NWL alum in the Series also had a hit. Cubs left fielder Ben Zobrist was 1-for-4 and has hit safely in all three games.

The Indians have a 2-to-1 lead in the best-of-7 World Series. Game 4 is Saturday night.
