The Rivets extended their winning streak to four in last night’s game against Kokomo Jackrabbits with a final score of 10-1. 

The Rivets started off strong in the first inning scoring two runs. The first run was scored by Braden Duhon with a single hit from John Malcom. John Malcom was then able to score for the Rivets after a ground-out hit. The second inning was an exciting one while scoring four runs and getting an early lead of 6-0. Two of the runs were scored from a double hit from Matthew Mebane bringing home Jack Scheri and John Malcom. 

In the seventh inning, the Jackrabbits were able to score one run but the Rivets fought back strong and scored three more. Aaron Harper brought in another run by stealing the base. And Tony Lindwedel also scored for our last run of the game bringing the score to 10-1. 

The Rivets will be playing again on June 12th at home with the first pitch at 6:35 pm.
