Rockford, IL. – The Northwoods League announced the game schedule for the 2020 season. The Rockford Rivets begin their 5th season of play in the league at home on Tuesday, May 26 to begin a two-game set with the Green Bay Booyah.

Rockford will play their entire 2020 regular season within the Great Lakes Division, taking on opponents from both the Great Lakes East and West. The 72-game regular season will conclude on Sunday, August 9th, with the Rivets hosting the Green Bay Booyah at Rivets Stadium with a first-pitch time of 1:05 pm.

The league, which plays two halves to determine playoff participants, will end the first half of the schedule on June 30 with the second half of the season beginning on July 1. The 2020 Northwoods League All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday, July 21 at a location yet to be announced. The annual Major League Dreams Showcase will take place on Tuesday, August 4 at a location yet to be announced.
