LOVES PARK, Ill. – The Rockford Rivets committed four errors and gave up six unearned runs in a 10-4 loss to the St. Cloud Rox on Tuesday at Rivets Stadium.

 

The Rivets lost an early 2-0 lead when the Rox scored three unearned runs in the third inning. A walk and an error put two runners on for the top of the St. Cloud order. Ricky Ramirez drove in a run with a groundout. Drew Freeman and Luke Ringhofer each singled in a run to give the Rox the lead from that point on.

 

Rockford starter Trevor Kiminski (0-2) gave up seven runs, two earned, in four innings and took the loss. Kiminski walked four and gave up five hits.

 

Austin Dubsky (4-0) earned the win for the Rox with six strikeouts over six innings.

 

Ryan Long was 3-for-4 with a home run in the loss.
