Top Ten Moments Countdown # 3: Express Send the Most Players From One Team in the NWL to the Big League Dreams Showcase
The Express have had their fair share of Big League talent over the years. Kole Calhoun and Jordan Zimmermann have represented the Express well in the MLB and many more former Express players have gone on to have long careers in the minors and/or Independent League baseball.
Near the end of the 2014 NWL season, the Express sent the highest number of players from one team to the NWL Big League Dreams Showcase in Madison. Twelve of the 100 top prospects in the Northwoods League belonged to the Eau Claire Express, and they did not disappoint at Warner Park in Madison.
