Three More Added to Express Roster
Eau Claire, WI – The Eau Claire Express announced today that three players have joined the Express 2015 roster. Tanner DeVinny (C, Grayson County College), Hayden Krimmer (RHP, Winona State University), and Brody Rodning (LHP, Minnesota State University – Mankato) will add to the already promising 2015 Express roster.
Tanner DeVinny (C) is from Lucas, Texas and is currently a sophomore at Grayson Community College having transferred from Kansas State University where he played as a freshman. In his freshman season for K-State, DeVinny batted .257, blasted three home runs, tallied 31 RBI, and started 35 games to earn All-Big 12 Freshman Team honors in 2014. Thus far in 2015 for the Grayson CC Vikings, DeVinny is batting .250 through 14 games, has three home runs, and 11 RBI.
Hayden Krimmer (RHP) is a native of Oak Creek, Wisconsin and is a sophomore at Winona State University this season. In early 2015 season play, Krimmer has a 0.90 ERA in two starts for the Warriors and boasts a .161 opponent batting average. Krimmer has also struck out five of the 31 batters he has faced this season. As a freshman in 2014, Krimmer pitched 48.2 innings for the Warriors, posted a 5-3 record, and struck out 37 batters while only walking 10 all season.
Brody Rodning (LHP) is originally from Gaylord, Minnesota and is a freshman at Minnesota State University – Mankato this season. Rodning has many high school accolades that highlight his talents, having been named to the all-conference and all-state teams in Minnesota his senior year. Rodning posted a 0.74 ERA his senior year for Sibley East High School and was named conference player of the year.
The Express begin their 11th season of play in the Northwoods League on May 26th as they take on the Border Cats in Thunder Bay. Eau Claire’s home opener is scheduled for May 28th versus the Duluth Huskies. First pitch of that contest will be at 6:35 PM. Season tickets and voucher packs are on sale now and single-game tickets will go on sale May 1st.
