Eau Claire, Wis. – The Eau Claire Express fall 10-5 in the Great Plains Championship to St. Cloud Wednesday night. Eau Claire retires from the season with an overall record of 46-23.
In a devastating fashion, the Trains ended the evening in front of 1017 people, putting together five runs on 11 hits and one error, compared to St. Cloud’s 10 runs on 10 hits and two errors.
The Express ended the night with a high of four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, alongside one more run in the eighth inning. Leading the offense for the Trains was Hollon Brock, who went five-for-four and hit one double.
