Express announce promotional schedule
Eau Claire, WI. – With the eleventh season of Express baseball less than a month away, the team today announced its promotional schedule highlights for the 2015 season. Fireworks Fridays will return this year along with three mini bobblehead giveaways. The new items on the promotional schedule are highlighted by four premium nights that include appearances by former NFL Legend Ickey Woods, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, a Dueling Pianos Show, and Cowboy Monkey Rodeo.
Back by popular demand will be some fan favorite promotions from previous years. Every Friday night (except July 3rd) in 2015 will feature a postgame fireworks show. This year’s schedule features six Fireworks nights including Saturday, July 4th. Three mini bobblehead giveaways will return as well. Featured this year will be a commemorative bobblehead of Express Pitching Coach Vic Cable who has been part of the team since its inception in 2005. Other bobbleheads will include former Express standout Joe Bonfe, and finally, the original Eau Claire Bears mascot for “Turn Back the Clock Night”. Also returning in 2015 is the pre-planned funeral giveaway sponsored by Evergreen Funeral Home.
Mega Co-Op will continue to sponsor “Mega Mondays” in which Mega Co-Op members will receive $4 General Admission seats for every home Monday game. J-Cap Real Estate will sponsor “Student Night” at every Thursday home game where students with a valid Student ID will receive $1 off any general admission, grandstand, or box seat ticket and can gain admission to the Fan Deck for just $20. Playmakers Bar and Grill will sponsor “Playmakers Fridays” where each fan in attendance will receive a coupon for a great deal at Playmakers Bar and Grill. “Savers’ Saturdays” will be a new promotion at Carson Park in 2015 where Savers will be signing up fans for Savers’ rewards cards and will sponsor an official “Kids run the bases” promotion after every Saturday night home game. Finally, Ballpark and Kemps will be sponsoring $1 hot dogs and $1 sundaes at every Sunday Express home game.
In addition to the popular promotions returning from last year, the Express has added a significant amount of new events to the 2015 schedule. New promotions are highlighted by two celebrity appearances: one by former NFL Legend Ickey Woods of the Cincinnati Bengals on July 6th, and one by former WWE Superstar and Hall of Famer Kevin Nash on July 7th. Ickey Woods and Kevin Nash will sign autographs, take photos with fans, and entertain fans in-between innings throughout their respective games.
Two popular promotions will also be at Carson Park this summer including a dueling pianos show from the group “Dueling Duo” on June 21st and Cowboy Monkey Rodeo on August 1st.
