Eau Claire, Wis. – The Northwoods League and Eau Claire Baseball, LLC announced today a change in ownership structure of the Eau Claire Express. Effective immediately, Dale Varsho and Andy Neborak have joined Bill Rowlett in ownership roles with the Express. Rowlett and Varsho have been a part of the Express since its inception in 2005, while Neborak has been with the organization since serving as an intern during the 2007-08 seasons.
Rowlett will retain his role as Managing Director of the team, while Varsho will continue as the organization’s Director of Baseball Operations and once again will serve as the team’s on-field manager. Neborak, who most recently was the organization’s General Manager, assumes the role of Chief Financial Officer.
The Express begin their twelfth season of play in the Northwoods League at Carson Park on May 31 versus the Rochester Honkers. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. in that contest, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Season tickets and 5-Game Packs are on sale now and single-game tickets go on sale on May 2. The all-new 5-Game Pack includes a reserved ticket along with food and beverage for three innings for five of the biggest promotional nights of the 2016 season all for only $45.00. The Eau Claire Express are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
