Eau Claire, Wis. – The Eau Claire Express today announced two roster additions to the 2016 roster from a familiar school. Outfielder Erick Migueles and infielder Jared Mang from the University of New Mexico will bring Eau Claire’s roster to 13 just a couple months before opening day.  

Migueles is a freshman originally from Tucson, Ariz. where he was part of a Division II State Championship team at Canyon Del Oro High School as a senior last year. He has played in just under half of the Lobos’ 25 games this spring, starting ten, and has a .290 batting average in 31 at-bats.

Mang is also a freshman for the Lobos. The Los Alamos, N.M. native was a two-time Gatorade New Mexico Player of the Year and five-time First Team All-District selection during his career at Los Alamos High School. The infielder has appeared in 24 games this spring (20 starts) and is batting .273 with a .372 on-base percentage.

The Express begin their twelfth season of play in the Northwoods League at Carson Park on May 31 versus the Rochester Honkers. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. in that contest, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Season tickets and 5-Game Packs are on sale now and single-game tickets go on sale on May 2. The all-new 5-Game Pack includes a reserved ticket along with food and beverage for three innings for five of the biggest promotional nights of the 2016 season all for only $45.00. The Eau Claire Express are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 23rd season of summer collegiate baseball in 2016, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
