Eau Claire, Wis.- The Eau Claire Express have won the Northwoods League North Division 1st half and have earned a trip to the playoffs for the first time since winning the Northwoods League Championship in 2010. They will host a playoff game at Carson Park on Monday August 15th 6:35pm. Group and individual game tickets are on sale now!
The first two divisional round games are single elimination and the winner of the first and second half of the season will host the teams in the division with the next two best overall records. If the Express win their home playoff game on Monday August 15th they would play again Tuesday, August 16th at a location TBD. Both of the first two games are single elimination. If the Express were to win the second game on August 16th, they would advance to the best-of-three Summer Collegiate World Series, August 18th-20th.
All season ticket holders have been mailed a form to register for playoff tickets. Season ticket holders will receive a refund for any games not played or this can roll over as a deposit for the 2017 season.
Ticket pricing for the 2016 playoff games is as follows:
VIP Box $30/game
Fan Deck: $28/game
Box Seats: $14/game
Reserved Grandstand: $11/game
General Admission: $9/game
A special 5-Game Pack Experience ticket will be offered for the price of $15. This ticket includes a ticket in the reserved grandstand and access to a private buffet line from the start of the game until the end of the 3rd inning. The buffet will include ballpark food, side items, water, and soda. The purpose of the package is to offer another "5-game pack night" for fans who purchased the package during the regular season and to introduce other fans to the package who may want to purchase the pack for the 2017 season.
