Eau Claire, Wis. – The Eau Claire Express announced an addition to the team’s front office today with the hiring of Collin Yeager as the Director of Marketing and Corporate Service. Yeager fills the vacancy left when Zach Czubakowski recently departed for a position at Texas Tech University.
Yeager has past experience in various marketing and communications roles with Rollins College, the Orlando City Soccer Club, University of Central Florida and the Florida Collegiate Summer League. In these positions he participated in sponsorship activation, fan relations, and media relations among other areas. During his internship with the Florida Collegiate Summer League, he had the opportunity to learn many aspects of the day-to-day operation of a summer collegiate baseball team.
“We’re lucky to have someone with the varied experience of Collin join our front office team,” CFO and Part-Owner Andy Neborak stated. “He comes in with a lot of energy and we’re excited about the new ideas he will bring to the fan experience at Carson Park.”
Collin’s position with the Express will include oversight of the part-time staff at Carson Park, sponsorship activation, community relations along with some media relations and graphic design work. As with all front office positions with the Express, he will be involved in most aspects of the operation in some way.
The Express begin season number 13 in the Northwoods League on May 30 as they travel to Bismarck, N.D. for the inaugural series for the Bismarck Larks. They continue to Willmar to take on the Stingers for a two-game set before opening their home schedule at Carson Park on Saturday, June 3 versus the Mankato MoonDogs. First pitch of the home opener will be at 7:05 p.m. and the game will be followed by a fireworks show.
