Eau Claire, Wis. – The Eau Claire Express announced an addition to the team’s front office today with the hiring of Jacob Servais as the Director of Food and Beverage. Servais comes to the Express with previous Northwoods League experiences after being in various roles during the past couple seasons.  Servais fills the vacancy left when Chris Thompson recently accepted a position with the Minnesota United Professional Soccer Team.

Servais has past experience in marketing, sales, and operational roles with the La Crosse Loggers, Lakeshore Chinooks and Green Bay Bullfrogs. During his time with the Loggers, Jacob was an on field marketing director where he assisted with all on-field activity before, during and after the game. This role not only introduced him to the Northwoods League, but to the grind of working in sports. As a sales intern with the Lakeshore Chinooks, Servais made cold sales calls to perspective clients about the various ticket packages the Chinooks offer.  He also reached out to area churches, youth groups, and businesses about group outings. As the Food and Beverage Manager with the Green Bay Bullfrogs, Servais oversaw all the day-to-day food and beverage operation. As the season progressed he also took on more of a responsibility with ballpark operations and human resources.

“Our team is fortunate to add someone with the amount of experience Jacob has in both food/beverage and sales with multiple teams, “General Manager Spencer Larson stated.  “We’re excited for the new ideas he will bring to the game day operation at Carson Park.”

Jacob’s position with the Express will include oversight of the food and beverage department at Carson Park and creating new business accounts through cold calls with a focus on the 5-game packages. This will be done through various community networking events. As with all front office positions with the Express, he will be involved in most aspects of the day-to-day operation in some way.

The Express begin season number 14 in the Northwoods this spring.   Season tickets and 5-Game Packs are on sale now.  Purchase your 5-Game Pack that includes a reserved seat, Express jersey, Express hat, Express mug, and unlimited food and beverage for $70 click this link to buy online and we will contact you about your seats.
