Eau Claire, Wis. – The Northwoods League Foundation has selected the Lowes Creek Little League as the recipient of the Share the Glove equipment grant.
Lowes Creek is a 100% volunteer youth baseball organization located in Eau Claire, WI. Founded on Little League principals, we provide boys and girls, ages 4-12, with the opportunity to play baseball – welcoming players from all over the Eau Claire area. The gear includes two sets of catcher’s gear, ten gloves, eight batting helmets, six bats and one bucket of practice balls.
Lowes Creek Little League will be recognized during an Express game TBD for the 2018 season.
The Express begin season number 14 in the Northwoods League on May 29 as they travel to Rochester, Minn. for the season opener against the Rochester Honkers. They continue to La Crosse to take on the Loggers for one game before opening their home schedule at Carson Park on Friday, June 1 versus the La Crosse Loggers. First pitch of the home opener is set at 7:05 p.m. and the game will be followed with a fireworks show.
