Eau Claire, Wis. – Eau Claire Express and Notre Dame left fielder, Spencer Myers was named the team’s Most Valuable Player at the conclusion of the 2018 campaign.

Myers, a staple in the Express lineup, appeared in 66 games during his first summer with the Express, logging the most innings of any player on the team’s roster this summer. During the 2018 season, he also led the team in at bats with 257 and hits with 79, leading to a team-leading .307 batting average.

The Notre Dame freshman was also selected as one of four players to represent the Eau Claire Express and the North Division in the 2018 Northwoods League All-Star Game in Kalamazoo, Mich.
