In today’s Express Alumni Update presented by Lakeland University, we sat down with three-year player Adam LaRock. An Eau Claire native, LaRock played with the Express from 2017-2019 with his most lucrative year coming in 2018 where he appeared in 46 games, batting .238 with 36 hits and 21 RBIs. More recently, LaRock was a part of the 2019 Great Plains Championship Express team and the squad that contested the 2019 Northwoods League Championship game against Traverse City.
LaRock started his collegiate career with the University of Iowa, redshirting his freshman season before transferring to Madison College. In Madison LaRock helps the Wolfpack to a Region IV Championship and a trip to the NJCAA Division II World Series while batting .284 with 31 hits, 25 runs batted in and 22 runs scored. LaRock led the team with 15 stolen bases on 15 attempts and posted a .925 fielding percentage in 2018. In 2019, LaRock was named the North Central Community College Conference Most Valuable Player, as well as first-team all-conference. LaRock will continue his collegiate career at UW-Milwaukee this spring.
