Booyah to Open Northwoods League Schedule at Capital Credit Union Park July 1st
First two weeks of 2020 season schedule announced; single game tickets go on sale Friday, June 19th
ASHWAUBENON, Wis. – Following a pod of Northwoods League teams comprised of the Green Bay Booyah, Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, La Crosse Loggers, Rockford Rivets, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, and Wisconsin Woodchucks announcing a return to play late last week, the Northwoods League announced today the first two weeks of a modified season schedule. The Green Bay Booyah is slated to host the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at Capital Credit Union Park on July 1st at 6:35pm.
With additional teams in the region still working through the possibility of opening later in July, this “pod” could expand before the season’s end which is the reason the League will refrain from releasing the full summer schedule until late June. The season for this pod will last until August 20th, and will be capped with a two-day, pod playoff series on August 21st and 22nd. Working in consultation with state and local officials, the six teams have each developed plans for safe operation in their respective locations, and the teams look forward to welcoming fans and players back for a much-anticipated season of Northwoods League baseball.
Capital Credit Union Park will open up at a limited capacity of 25% to start the season. The Booyah are working to place all season ticket package holders in seating locations within a newly created, socially-distanced stadium map of Capital Credit Union Park. When all ticket holders are placed, fans that signed up for the Priority List on the Booyah website will have a 48 hour window on beginning Tuesday June 16th to purchase any single game tickets to the first 7 home games before the general public. Single game tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 19th at 9:00am.
Due to the new seating map, Capital Credit Union Park will be limited to just over 1,000 tickets for each game. In addition to box seats with back and arm rests, drink rail seating with ADA accessibility, and Aurora BayCare Backyard berm tickets will be available on a single game basis. A limited number of single game tickets will be available each game for the VerHalen Club that includes access to the indoor and outdoor space, a wristband with three tabs to be used for beer, wine, cocktails, in addition to a premium all-you-can-eat food assortment that will rotate on a nightly basis throughout the summer.
Single game pricing for 2020 is as follows: VerHalen Commercial Interiors Club: $45 (adult with food & beverage included), $32 (child with food & beverage included); Home Plate Box: $16 (sections 110-116); Drink Rails & ADA: $16; Dugout Box: $14 (sections 107-109, 117-119); Outfield Box: $12 (Sections 103-106, 120-124); Aurora BayCare Backyard Berm: $8.
Fans may purchase tickets to any of the Booyah home games via three different outlets. As part of the Booyah Covid-19 readiness plan, all transactions for the 2020 season will be cashless, so fans will need a Credit Card to purchase for all of the following methods:
