Fond du Lac, WI – The Green Bay Booyah failed to keep the errors off the scoreboard as they fell 7-3 on the road in Fond du Lac.

 

Green Bay struck for one run in each of the first three innings, with Nick Kreutzer picking up an RBI on a sac fly that scored Cooper Morrison in the first. In the second, Chase Hanson took a pitch from Fond du Lac starter Jon Young right back up the middle to plate Joe Mason. For the final run for Green Bay on the day, Jarrett Ford took a 1-1 pitch to the wall in left-center for a double, scoring Morrison for the second time.

 

On the mound, Chris Jefferson went six innings for the second time this season, giving up five runs, three of which were earned. Jefferson struck out eight Dock Spider batters, while only walking one. Bobby Dorta came in for the final two innings defensively, giving up two runs in total.

 

On the defensive side, Green Bay committed four errors which resulted in four runs for Fond du Lac. The errors came in the second, fifth, and eighth innings.

 

The Booyah send Zach Chappell to the mound tomorrow to take on the Dock Spiders in the second game of two. Green Bay looks to get back above .500 before their first day off of the season.
