Ashwaubenon, WI – On Friday morning, the Northwoods League announced the 2019 All-Star roster which features the Booyah left-hander Tanner Lane. Lane will be headed to Waterloo to represent Green Bay on July 16th in Waterloo.
So far this season, Tanner Lane, a sophomore out of Pittsburg State, has a 2-2 record with a 1.26 ERA. In his first season in the Northwoods League, Lane has thrown in 13 total games, including one start. The Webb City Missouri product has been one of the top options out of the bullpen for field manager Tom Carty.
In total, Lane has a 3:1 K/BB ratio and has picked up two saves already this season, including a six out save on Wednesday against Fond du Lac to open the second half.
At Pittsburg State this past season, Lane was the main option out of the bullpen for the Gorillas. His 2.06 ERA on the year with Pittsburg State was best on the team, and Lane was a MIAA Pitcher of the Week at the end of April.
