Ashwaubenon, WI –   The Green Bay Booyah used the effectiveness of their pitchers for the second straight night as they won 2-1 over the Wisconsin Woodchucks on Saturday night.

On the mound, Garrett Martin went seven innings, giving up five hits, and allowing just one earned run in another spectacular performance on the mound. Martin only allowed one walk on Saturday, and struck out six Woodchucks batters in route to his third win of the season. Out of the bullpen, Will Saxton completed two innings, gave up two hits and struck out two as he grabbed his first save of the year.

At the plate, Jacob Buchberger led the way for Green Bay by going 1-3 with a home run and the two lone RBIs on the night. Nick Kreutzer finished 1-2, picking up a single as well as a walk and the only other run scored for Green Bay. Cooper Morrison was the only player to record a hit for the Booyah, as he went 1-3 with a walk and reached base four times on the night.

Green Bay and the Woodchucks play once again tomorrow at Athletic Park with a 3:05 p.m. start time. Chris Jefferson makes the start for the Booyah, as Green Bay looks to sweep the two-game set from the Woodchucks.
