Green Bay get a well-rounded win

FOND DU LAC, Wis.The Green Bay Booyah defeated the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders at Capital Credit Union Park on Saturday night, 5-4.

The Booyah picked up 12 hits on Saturday night fueled by a trio of players. Making an impressive debut was Dayson Croes (Quincy). He picked up three hits in four at-bats and also worked a walk in his five plate appearances. He wasn’t the only member of the Booyah to pick up three hits. Dalton Pearson (Georgia State) and Nathan Blasick (West Virginia) each picked up three hits in the victory.

The pitching performance was also impressive. In his first start of the season, Logan Lee picked up the win. He pitched six innings, allowing five hits, four runs and one walk. He struck out four. Caleb Reis picked up a three-inning save. He allowed three hits and punched out three.

The Booyah will have a quick turnaround as they will welcome the Lakeshore Chinooks to town on Sunday to start a series. First pitch is slated for 1:05 pm.

The Booyah will be donning their new G.O.A.T.S jerseys. As a tribute to the Packers, the Booyah will wear green and gold for four home Sunday games.

The G.O.A.T.S play on Sundays, presented by WDUZ The Fan. Fans will also be allowed to play catch on the field postgame, presented by Capital Credit Union.
