Green Bay travels to Witter Field for the second time in 2022

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. –  Green Bay heads to Wisconsin Rapids Saturday night to take on the Rafters.

The Rockers are now 8-18 on the season after the Woodchucks won Friday’s matchup, 3-1.

Wisconsin Rapids is 22-3 after falling to the Chinooks in Mequon, 5-0. The Rafters currently sport the league’s best record.

Green Bay will start Chris Sleeper, the right-hander from West Virginia University. Sleeper has no record over two starts, with an ERA at 3.00. He’s walked three and struck out nine in nine innings pitched.

Wisconsin Rapids has yet to announce a probable starter.

Saturday’s first pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. The two will tangle in Ashwaubenon Sunday afternoon. First pitch for that game is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.
