Green Bay looks for first win over Rockford in 2022

Ashwaubenon, Wis.- The Green Bay Rockers take on the Rockford Rivets for the third time this season Sunday afternoon with first pitch set for 1:05 p.m. from Capital Credit Union Park.

The pregame concert performed by the Breakfast Club will start at 1:05 p.m. with this game featuring an inflatable guitar giveaway at the ballpark for the first 500 fans that attend. Fans will also be able to play catch on the field postgame courtesy of Capital Credit Union.

The Rockers look for their second straight win following Saturday night’s 10-8 win over Kalamazoo at home.

Brendan Ryan hit a three-run home run and scored four times to lead the pace for the Rockers offense, while Griffin Stevens finished with three RBIs as well along with Ryan.

Will Semb earned the win on the mound after pitching the first six innings, giving up three runs on five hits, but he did finish with 10 strikeouts to keep his team out in front.

Green Bay will start Luke Singleton on the mound as he will be making his first appearance of the season following his senior season of high school.

Singleton will be heading to Cowley Community College next season, after most recently pitching for Vista Ridge High School this past spring.

The Rockers and Rivets will square off for the second time in as many days Monday night at Capital Credit Union Park following this Sunday afternoon matchup. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
