Ashwaubenon, Wis. – Wausau defeated the Rockers Tuesday night at Capital Credit Union Park, 6-0.

Four of the six runs for the Woodchucks came in the third inning. They recorded five hits in the frame, all of which were singles. The first four batters singled in that frame.

Ben Abernathy singled home two, Zach Levenson singled home Brent Widder and Abernathy subsequently scored on a steal of home.

In the eighth inning Nik Levensteins hit a two-run home run to right to make it 6-0.

Overall, a good start for Dylan Carter. He threw seven innings and allowed five hits, four runs (all earned), walked two and struck out three.

Jack Wenninger pitched well for Wausau. He got the win and tossed six shutout frames and allowed four hits and two walks while striking out six.

The Rockers and Woodchucks go at it again Wednesday at Athletic Park in Wausau. Chris Sleeper will throw for Green Bay, and Aidan Major will throw for the Woodchucks. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
