Tristin Garcia and Will Semb each make Showcase which will take place on August 2 at Copeland Park in La Crosse

Ashwaubenon, Wis.- Two players will be representing the Green Bay Rockers on August 2 at the Major League Dreams Showcase, with Tristin Garcia and Will Semb each making one team that will be playing on August 2 at Copeland Park in La Crosse.

Garcia and Semb will join 75 other players throughout the Northwoods League who were selected by a panel of Major League Baseball Scouts in a double-header and a full day of workouts in front of scouts as part of the Showcase.

So far this season, Garcia has a standout summer in his second stint with Green Bay, batting a .322 average in 45 games played, with four home runs, 33 RBIs, and 15 doubles.

He is also 13th in the Northwoods League in batting average, while he is second on the team in RBIs behind Griffin Stevens who currently has 37.

As for Semb, the Green Bay native has had a solid season in his second summer with the Rockers, pitching in nine games so far in his 2022 campaign.

In those nine games, he has pitched in 46 innings, while allowing 224 walks compared to stirking out 53 batters and currently has an ERA of 5.48.

Semb will be part of the first game of the double-header and be part of the home team, while Garcia will be play in the second game of the double-header and be part of the visiting team.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Northwoods League Foundation which is a charitable organization serving to transform a shared passion for baseball into positive change and support for communities.

The first game will start at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2 at Copeland Park in La Crosse.
