EPIC Event Center presents Lynyrd Skynyrd with special guests Mark Farner’s American Band at Capital Credit Union Park on September 3rd
Green Bay, Wis. – April 7, 2026 – A legendary night of classic rock is headed to Capital Credit Union Park on Thursday, September 3, 2026, as Lynyrd Skynyrd takes the stage with special guests Mark Farner’s American Band.
For more than 50 years, Lynyrd Skynyrd has remained one of rock’s most enduring names, with a catalog that continues to resonate across generations. As the band’s official bio notes, “Few ensembles have had the deep impact in creating a lifestyle as Skynyrd has.” From “Sweet Home Alabama” to “Free Bird,” the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers continue to draw fans who want to hear those songs where they belong: live and loud.
That connection to fans still drives the band today. “People want to hear it, and they want to hear it played live,” frontman Johnny Van Zant said in the band’s bio. With a career that spans decades, billions of streams, and a fan base that stretches from longtime listeners to younger generations discovering the music for the first time, Lynyrd Skynyrd remains a powerhouse on the live stage.
Joining the show is Mark Farner’s American Band, led by the former Grand Funk Railroad frontman, lead singer, and guitarist. His addition gives the night even more classic rock muscle and adds another familiar voice and songbook to an already stacked lineup.
