Owen Leads Mallards to Road Win

Jordan Owen (Tennessee-Martin) guided the Madison Mallards to victory at Copeland Park on Friday night. Jordan Owen accounted for five of the eleven Madison runs and had four hits on the night. Owen is a is a 5'1'' outfielder from Kansas City, MO and is currently hitting .375 in 19 games played.

Fulmer Finds Stroke Against MoonDogs

Will Fulmer (Montevallo) is a 5'9'' infielder for the Alexandria Beetles in 2011 and is currently hitting .269 in 15 NWL games. Fulmer had one of his best NWL games Thursday night against the North Division leaders, the Mankato MoonDogs. The right-handed hitter was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBIs and helped the Beetles improve to 11-8.

Perkins Pounds Out Three Hits

Cameron Perkins (Purdue) of the Waterloo Bucks had a nice night at the plate against NWL rival Madison on Wednesday night. Perkins, a 6'5'' infielder, was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBIs at Riverfront Stadium in Waterloo, IA. In 22 games in 2011, Perkins is hitting .314 with eight extra base hits and 10 RBIs.

Pair of Mallards Produce at Plate

Willie Argo and Justin Parr are teammates with the Madsion Mallards and also at the University of Illinois. Both Argo and Parr had great nights at the plate against the Waterloo Bucks on Tuesday. Argo drove in six runs as he was 2-for-4 with two home runs. He also scored two runs and walked once. Parr was 5-for-6 with three RBIs and is now hitting .306.

Perfect Night for St. Cloud’s Stiner

Kyle Stiner (New Mexico) was perfect at the plate for the St. Cloud River Bats on Monday night. The left-handed hitting infielder was 5-for-5 with three RBIs and one run scored. The Peoria, Ariz., native is now hitting .237 in 10 games. Stiner is now in the midst of a three game hit streak.

Owen Goes Deep Twice

Jordan Owen (Tennessee-Martin) had a night to remember on Saturday against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. The Kansas City, MO native was 3-for-4 at the plate with a pair of home runs. He also drove in four runs and scored twice. The Mallards right-fielder is now hitting .345 in 15 games played and has seven extra-base hits and 11 RBIs on the season.

Fisher Drives in Four in Victory

Zac Fisher (New Mexico State) paced the Express offense in the 11-6 win Sunday afternoon against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. The left-handed hitting catcher was 2-for-4 with three runs scored and four RBIs.

Balog Leads Bullfrogs to Win

Nik Balog (San Francisco) was 3-for-6 Friday night against the Madison Mallards. Balog drove in three runs and scored twice to set the pace for the Bullfrogs. Balog is now hitting .364 in six games and has homered twice.

Green Bay’s Billy Moon Glows Thursday Night

Billy Moon (Gonzaga) of the Green Bay Bullfrogs was 2-for-2 with four RBIs against the Madison Mallards Thursday night. The 5'10'' left-handed hitting outfielder blasted a three-run home run in the 7th and lined an RBI single in the 8th for his two hits.

Perfect Night for La Crosse’s Flynn

Cameron Flynn (Kentucky) of the La Crosse Loggers helped the team to victory Wednesday night. Flynn, an outfielder, was a perfect 3-for-3 with with three RBIs and one run scored. Flynn is now hitting .245, but has six hits in his last 15 at-bats.

Bomber’s Rockett has Career Night

Daniel Rockett (Texas San Antonio) had a career night Tuesday for the Battle Creek Bombers. The 6'1'' outfielder was 4-for-5 on the night with four runs scored and five RBIs. Rockett had two doubles, a home run and a stolen base against the Loggers in La Crosse.

LeViseur Swinging a Hot Bat

Mike LeViseur (Seton Hill) of the Alexandria Beetles had a great night at the plate Monday. The right-handed hitting 1st basemen was 3-for-5 on the night with two runs scored and four RBIs. LeViseur also connected on his 2nd home run of the season and is now hitting .405 in 2011.
