What’s your favorite memory while playing for the Rochester Honkers?
MH: The talented teammates I got to play with. There were so many guys who got drafted during or after their time with the Honkers. I learned a lot just being around those guys and seeing the talent and mental game it takes to get to the next level.

What's your favorite non-playing memory from your time with the Rochester Honkers?
MH: Living with my grandparents was definitely one of the highlights, but I think the teammates were the best part. I thought it was really cool how a group of guys who know nothing about each other before the season can come together and bond the way we did. We spend about 5-6 hours a day at the field for 70 days, so it doesn't take long to get to know each other.

Who was your favorite teammate when you played for the Rochester Honkers and why?
MH: The catching corps during my 2nd year on the team, Tyler Baker and Jared Deacon. They are great guys and it was a blast playing with them. Also, playing with Mason Pingle both seasons, because you never know what is going to come out of his mouth. One of the funniest guys I've known.

What has happened to you since you left Rochester and what are you doing now?
MH: I hurt my elbow last season and redshirted. I am back for my 5th year as a Gopher, and, after a year of rehab, hoping it's a healthy one.

What was your biggest realization while playingfor the Rochester Honkers?
MH:
I definitely have more respect for Big League catchers. Playing every single day wears on your body more than you think. It's a whole different feel than college where you have a couple days during the week to rest your body before the next series.

Do you stay in contact with former teammates? If so, who?
MH:
I keep in contact with a few guys. Mostly through social media. A few of us have played each other too which is always fun.
