(Rochester, Minn.)– The Rochester Honkers defeated the Alexandria Blue Anchors 5-4 in seven innings in game one of Firday night's double header. Colby Green (Triton CC) earned the win for the Honkers, moving him to 2-0 on the year, while Graylon Brown (Angelo State) took the loss for Alexandria. Spencer Greer (Dixie State) got his third save of the season for Rochester.
Alex Schultz (Nebraska-Omaha) lead the way for the Honkers offensively with one hit, one run scored, and two RBIs.
With the game tied 4-4 after three innings, the two teams played scoreless ball untl the bottom of the sixth, when Cole Krzmarzick brought Schultz in on a sacrifice fly to right field.
Game two will begin at approximately 8:45 p.m.
