(Rochester, Minn.)— The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced today that they have come to an agreement with MSBN Sports Network out of Hudson, Wisconsin to carry the online audio broadcast of all home and away games for the 2017 season, so that fans, families, and friends around the country and the world can listen with ease.

“With everyone glued to their smart phones and tablets, now is the time to make this exclusive move,” said Honkers GM Dan Litzinger.  “The world-wide reach will only enhance the experience and promote Rochester Honkers Baseball to all.”

MSBN Sports Network is an online broadcaster of multiple sports on multiple levels, from youth to professional, and from Alpine to Wrestling.  Since 2005, MSBN has been the country’s premier online sports broadcasters with over 2,000 LIVE events in just the last calendar year alone!

“We went with MSBN because of the simplicity for the listeners,” said Litzinger.  “It was imperative that it was as simple as possible to listen to our games.  With just a click, you’ll be able to listen.  No app to download or software to buy, and compatible with all smartphones, tablets, laptops and computers.  Plus they are local!”

“We are extremely pleased and excited to have reached a broadcast agreement with the Rochester Honkers for the 2017 season”, said Jon Wekkin MSBN President.  “We have a long history with the Northwoods League including past broadcast agreements with Thunder Bay and Mankato.   We also have produced broadcasts for the St. Paul Saints, multiple MSHSL State Baseball Tournaments, MBA State Tournaments, as well as the Central Plains American Legion Baseball Regional in Minnetonka in 2009, so we have an established history of broadcasting baseball in Minnesota. We look forward to working with GM Dan Litzinger, broadcaster Michael Keeley, and the Rochester Honkers to make this a great season for the fans to follow the team.”

The Rochester Honkers 24th season begins on Tuesday, May 30th when the team hosts the Mankato Moondogs in their home opener at Mayo Field at 7:05 pm. Season Tickets, ½ Season Plans, Suites and Patios are now available.
