The Rochester Honkers (10-16 Second Half, 26-35 Overall) end a four-game series against the Bismarck Larks (12-16, 28-35) with a doubleheader on Sunday, August 6. Saturday's game was suspended in the top of the second inning and will be resumed today at 12:05 p.m. and will play nine innings. The regularly-scheduled game will be played at 5:05 p.m. and will be a seven-inning game.

The Honkers trail the Larks 1-0 in the suspended game. Ryan Anderson (UC Davis) drove the first run of the game on single to center field in the bottom of the first inning. The game was put into a delay before the second inning could begin.

Michael Stryffeler (Lake Erie) will start game one for the Honkers. Stryffeler will make his eighth start of the season and has struck out 20 batters in 30.2 innings. The resumed game will be a nine-inning game. Drew Slade (Ripon) will start game two for the Honkers. Slade is 4-2 in seven starts the season with 31 strikeouts in 54 innings.

The next home game for the Flock will be a doubleheader on Monday, August 7, against the Thunder Bay Border Cats. It will be One Hit Wonder Night with Minnesota 97.5 FM. If the Honkers hold Thunder Bay to one hit in game one, then someONE will win $10,000. Anyone 18 years or older may sign to win for free at the Fan Center. First pitch of game one starts at 6:05 p.m. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Game two will begin 30 minutes after the completion of game one. Both games will be seven innings.
