(Rochester, Minn.) – Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Thunder Bay Border Cats at Mayo Field has been canceled due to unplayable field conditions. The Honkers led 5-0 entering the top of the fourth inning of game one when the one-hour-and-seven-minute rain delay began. The statistics from game one will not count toward the season totals.

The Honkers head on their last road trip of the season to take on the Duluth Huskies on Thursday, August 10. First pitch from Wade Stadium will be at 6:35 p.m. Kenyon Yovan (Oregon) is scheduled to pitch for the Honkers. Yovan is 0-1 this season with a 3.20 ERA in 19.2 innings.

The next home game will be on Saturday, August 12, against the Mankato MoonDogs. It will be a Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by Kerry and ABC 6 News. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
