Two more RHP’s coming to Rochester

(Rochester, Minn.) –  The Rochester Honkers have announced the signings of Darin Kilfoyl and Jaison Heard, right-handed pitchers from Saint Johns River State College in Palatka, Fla.

Kilfoyl is a 6-foot-7, 275-pound freshman. This season, Kilfoyl has made five starts, throwing 14.0 innings and striking out nine.  He’s currently 1-2 with a 3.86 ERA. Kilfoyl is a native of Land O’ Lakes, Fla.

Heard is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound sophomore who recently committed to Virginia Tech. Heard has started seven games this season, throwing 38 2/3 innings and striking out 40.  Heard is currently 3-1 with a 3.49 ERA. He is from Maitland, Fla.

Saint Johns River State is currently 21-8 and continues play Wednesday when they host Daytona State College.

The Rochester Honkers 25th season begins on Tuesday, May 29th when the team hosts the Eau Claire Express in their home opener at Mayo Field at 7:05 pm. 5-Game Packs and Kids Club Memberships are available now!  Season Tickets, ½ Season Plans, Suites and Patios are also available.
