ROCHESTER, MN. – The Rochester Honkers baseball club today announced the addition of three more pitchers from California: Landon Anderson, Evan Larsen, and Clayton Westrope.

Anderson is a 6’4”, 178-pound left-handed pitcher from Lakewood, CA. The sophomore southpaw is currently pitching as a reliever for Cal State Fullerton. In 10 appearances, he’s thrown 12 strikeouts in 14.2 innings. He hasn’t started any games or recorded any saves. He appeared in seven games as a freshman with one start and a 1-0 record. Anderson gave up just 12 hits in 10 innings while allowing only three earned runs. He finished the year with a 2.70 ERA. At Mayfair High School, he was honored as team MVP his junior season and team pitcher of the year his junior and senior seasons. In addition, he was named the Suburban League Pitcher of the Year.

Larsen is a 6’4”, 220-pound right-handed pitcher from Costa Mesa, CA. He is seeing his first collegiate playing time this season after redshirting in 2017 and not appearing in any games last season. In six appearances, he’s recorded four strikeouts with a 6.00 ERA in nine innings. He’s only allowed two runs since his first appearance of the season. At Corona Del Mar High School, Larsen played first base, pitcher, third base, and designated hitter for three years on varsity. As a senior, he finished 9-2 with 10 complete games, 93 strikeouts, 2 shutouts, and a 1.01 ERA. He was named Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Year in both his junior and senior seasons.

Westrope is a 6’0”, 185-pound left-handed pitcher from Livermore, CA. The freshman southpaw is a starting pitcher for San Joaquin Delta College, a community college in Stockton, CA. He holds an impressive 4-0 record in five starts. He’s made a total of 11 appearances with 29 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched. He has yet to surrender a home run this season. At Livermore High School, he helped his team win the state tournament in his senior season.
