Three Honkers Compete in Major League Dreams Showcase
Madison, WI – The Rochester Honkers were well represented in the Major League Dreams Showcase with Ryan Dorney, Ryan Wrobleski, and Marc Bisogno chosen to play for the home team on Tuesday, August 6, in Madison, WI.
Marc Bisogno (Fordham University) pitched two scoreless innings. He threw 18 strikes out of 25 total pitches and allowed just two hits.
Ryan Wrobleski (Dallas Baptist University) played catcher for five innings. He also received two at-bats, but was held hitless.
The Rochester Honkers are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Now in its 26th season, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 20 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
