Two Honkers Earn Postseason All-Star Status
Rochester, MN — Rochester Honkers’ shortstop Evan Berkey and closer Keon Taylor were honored as postseason All-Stars.
Berkey (Cal State-Bakersfield) leads Rochester with a .351 batting average. He’s also recorded 10 extra-base hits (seven doubles, one triple, and two home runs) and 23 runs batted in (RBI).
Taylor (Georgetown College) leads Rochester with 0.65 ERA and 12 saves. He’s also earned a 4-1 record with 44 strikeouts.
The Flock close out their season in Mankato, MN, where they take on the MoonDogs on Saturday and Sunday. August 10-11. Saturday’s game starts at 6:05 p.m. and Sunday’s game starts at 3:05 p.m.
