Slider’s Healthy Thought Today is About Midnight Snacking!
Did you know…
- When snacking at night, the key is to make sure your snack is healthy and portion controlled.
- Some foods to consider as a snack are popcorn, cherries, almonds, granola, yogurt, cheese and crackers, and cauliflower.
- If you cut out an evening snack you can lose up to 30 pounds in a year, and if you change your snack to fruits, you can lose up to 20 pounds in a year!
- To help prevent midnight snacking, eat a bigger lunch or breakfast to help spread your calories throughout the day.
- If your drink more water, not only you will stay hydrated, but it will also help you feel fuller!
