WATERLOO- In their last road game in June, the Bucks were overcome by the Wisconsin Woodchucks losing 5-2 Sunday night.
The Bucks and Woodchucks stayed tied throughout the game until the Woodchucks came ahead in a late game rally, scoring three runs in the bottom of the eighth. The Bucks are now 3-1 against the Woodchucks for the season.
Right-handed thrower Chris Pack (Villanova) stayed strong pitching 8.2 innings for the Bucks, but ultimately ended up with the loss for the night. Outfielder Willie Argo (Illinois) had the only two runs for the night, and designated hitter Tyler Robbins (DMACC) hit his third double for the season.
The Bucks return home to Riverfront Stadium Monday night to take on the Loggers for a 7:05 game. It’s another Buck night featuring admission coupons from Rock 108, beer, hotdogs, and popcorn. Monday night’s game will be the first of an eight game home stand.
