The Bucks (3-3) offense opened with a bang on Thursday night scoring nine of the teams 14 runs in the first three innings in the 14-0 victory over the Battle Creek Bombers (3-3). Each Bucks starter contributed at least one hit as they totaled 22 on the game.
Starting pitcher Chris Pack (Villanova) got his first win of the season after pitching six innings and allowing only three hits, one walk, and no earned runs. The Bucks were lead at the plate by plethora of hits and runs from the whole team. Phil Keppler (Iowa), Troy White (Northern Illinois), Michael Giller (Illinois), and Jason Krizan (Dallas Baptist) tallied three hits apiece in the lopsided victory.
The Bucks are back home in action tonight at 7:05 PM for Veridian Credit Union Night. Tickets will be available from Veridian. There will be prizes awarded every inning, including youth and adult grand prizes from Veridian. Gates open at 5:30 for happy hour featuring two-dollar draws.
